Transform Your Midlife Wellness Journey

Join Us Today

Beginning September 15, 2026, women in all stages of menopause are invited to begin a transformative wellness experience.

Each Tuesday, participants will be invited to a live Lunch & Learn remote class from 12:15 - 1:15 pm.  Work schedule doesn't allow for that? That's okay - each Thursday evening the same class will be held from 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Kids' schedules in the way? Something last-minute come up? No worries, each session will be recorded so you can watch it at your convenience.

At the end of the six-week program, our small group (no more than 14!) will come together for a thoughtfully curated one-day, in-person retreat experience at Birch Tree Wellness Studio in Bath, Michigan. Tentatively planned for a Saturday  either on October 24 or November 7, 2026 — allowing program members the opportunity to step away from daily stress, finally connect face-to-face with their new tribe, and bring together everything they’ve been learning and working on in a more personal and supportive setting.

How Return to Yourself  Works

1. Begin with clarity: Join a remote group class, complete onboarding paperwork, and complete your first private consultation with Dr. Karen.

2. Learn and practice together: Attend weekly remote sessions focused on menopausal symptoms, nervous system support, and realistic self-care.

3. Integrate and connect: Gather for an in-person retreat day that combines hands-on fun and relaxing group activities, guest speakers, and opportunities for add-ons that will leave you relaxed and refreshed.

4. Review and empower yourself: Complete a final one-on-one evaluation with Dr. Karen to assess progress, celebrate growth, and determine supportive next steps for your continued wellness journey

By the end of six weeks, you will have:

  • A better understanding of what is happening in your body during menopause and midlife.

  • A personalized self-care plan for supporting your energy, sleep, stress, emotional balance, inflammation, bone health, and more.

  • Practical evidence-based tools for calming your nervous system.

  • Clear next steps for your wellness journey.

  • A supportive group of women who understand exactly what you're going through.

  • Holistic medical insight that includes nutrition, bodywork, herbs, breathwork, and education.

Who is this program for?

Return to Yourself is for women who are noticing changes in their body and mind - irregular cycles, mood shifts, hot flashes, changes in their sleep, immunity, and muscle tone. More importantly, it's for women who know there has to be a better way to move through this stage of life.

It's for women who are tired of googling, searching, clicking, browsing, and looking for answers. It's for women who are tired of finding conflicting advice and products promising impossible results courtesy of a model who looks like she spends most of her day in the gym rather than trying to balance work, home, and life.

It's for women who just want to feel healthier, stronger, supported, and connected to their bodies again. It's for women who want to enjoy life without the pressure to feel perfect.

Midlife Vitality offers a space for REAL WOMEN navigating real changes.

Who would not benefit from Return to Yourself?

  • Those looking for a quick-fix weight loss program

  • Those who are fine with another diagnosis, another prescription.

  • Those who do not value science-based, holistic approaches to healing.

  • Those who say they've tried everything, but haven't committed to doing any of it consistently.

  • Those who wish to struggle anonymously and don't need or want community.

  • Those who only want a one-day retreat but zero follow-up support.

Invest in Your Wellness

This experience is intentionally designed to provide meaningful support, education, personalized guidance, and community connection in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I need to live near Lansing to participate?

Answer: No. Weekly sessions are remote. We welcome people from all over the world to join us               during both those and at the in-person workshop/retreat experience. For women traveling from outside the area, the Lansing region offers convenient hotel accommodations, dining, parks, and shopping, while still maintaining a peaceful, grounded atmosphere. Additional travel information, hotel recommendations, airport details, and local recommendations will be provided to registered participants closer to the event date. Plans include holding this program all over the world. Regardless of where it occurs, each location will intentionally be chosen to support rest, reflection, healing, and meaningful connection in a calm and welcoming environment. Regardless of where you are, feel safe knowing that every aspect is chosen because we understand that healing doesn't only happen during appointments or workshops. Sometimes it happens through conversation, feeling seen, and slowing down long enough to breathe, reflect, and laugh.

    2. What happens if I miss a weekly session?

Answer: No worries - participants will be sent a link to access the recorded session.

    3. Is this medical care?

Answer: Dr. Karen does act as a healthcare professional for your one-on-one consultations. For your

group menopause program, you receive care through education, coaching, learning self-care skills,          and even a little bit of tough love (accountability is a must). At no time will Dr. Karen diagnose,                  prescribe, or manage medical emergencies. Rather than replacing your current physician(s) or                  specialist(s), she prefers to work with them.

     4. Is this program covered by insurance?

Answer: Holistic medicine services are not typically accepted by insurance companies. We do

accept HSA and  FSH cards. Contact your insurance to discuss your personal benefits.

     5. Do I need to be in menopause, or is perimenopause included?

Answer: Perimenopause is included for sure! In fact, the earlier you begin your journey, the fewer

symptoms you typically have - and the less intense they tend to be.

      6. What should I expect during the one-on-one session?

Answer: Your health history will be reviewed, and your health concerns, labwork, and lifestyle will be

assessed. After non-invasive assessments are completed, we will discuss health strategies that fit

your needs and goals. You should expect to spend around 2 hours at this appointment and one

       hour at the end-of-program evaluation.

       7. What happens during the in-person workshop day?

Answer: Our one-day retreats are customized to each group. Our agenda may include:

  • interactive small group classes

  • yoga and gentle movement

  • stretching and flexibility work

  • breathwork

  • energy work

  • Add-ons, i.e., pampering by an esthetician, getting a massage or energy work session, etc.

       8. Do I need prior experience with yoga, breathwork, herbs, or holistic care?

Answer: Absolutely not! All you need is an open mind!

       9. How many women will be in the group?

Answer: A maximum of 14 women.
